Releasing a new iPad app called NeedleDrop!

Last week Livestorm Media released a great new iPad music app (free!) called NeedleDrop. This app has been built together with Opticom Engineering B.V. These two companies together have the strength to build great innovative, conceptual and challenging apps. To be able to differentiate these unique services we’ve created a new company called HUJO.innovations.

App description:
 NeedleDrop is a new way to listen to the latest music releases on your iPad! Whether you like house, trance, techno, or other dance music, NeedleDrop gives you instant access to daily updated music. So for every DJ, Musician and anybody else who likes music, NeedleDrop is the perfect app!

The music catalog used by NeedleDrop will be updated every day and show you the latest track releases per music genre. By selecting a genre NeedleDrop will show you the new available tracks. You can swipe through the tracks and view their release dates, names and remix versions. By double tapping a cover you can directly listen to the track. Also you can easily fastforward or rewind a track using needlesearch; a virtual NeedleDrop control.

With NeedleDrop you can:
• Choose between many music categories
• Listen to tracks with a simple touch
• Jump through music using the unique needlesearch control
• Use a daily updated music catalog
• Buy tracks easily if you find interesting music
• Mail cool tracks to anyone you like

Announcing HoneycombTablets.NL!

We are almost ready to release the beta version of our newest concept; Honeycomb Tablets ! At this moment we have a teaser image available when visiting the url, but the new website is almost ready for it’s beta-release, so within 1 or 2 weeks it will go live!

The website will first have minimum information, but still useful and presented in a cool way. Probably new features will come very soon after it’s first release, but we don’t want to have a huge concept which will never ever be released, so lets do it the Google-way once more!

Release new mobile website

Last week Livestorm Media released its first official self-designed mobile website. You might have noticed that when you visited livestorm.nl or theinternetmarketeer.nl by phone, that those sites look complete different (and very nice ;) ) on your mobile devices. But those templates were ‘just’ wordpress stuff. This new website is not a wordpress website, but fully designed by Livestorm Media using mobile frameworks.

The new website is the mobile version of http://sushitoko.nl which has been launched a little while ago (and still under development) and the new website can be found at http://sushitoko.mobi (of course, visit with your mobile phone!).

This new mobile site is the first of many to come, including great use of phone functionality (check it out yourself!) and also using embedded mobile ads, both from Google’s Adsense as from Google’s Admob, as we are still testing this!

A little while we upgraded from v1 to v2 of this Dutch website about a training-package to train your dog. Last week a whole new version and an update design has been implemented on the website. The site hondentrainen.com is now upgraded to version 3 including additional pages, blog-functionality and improved design.

Livestorm Media network volumes

We are proud to say that the Livestorm Media network (which includes all websites created and maintained by Livestorm itself (not for clients) is currently having around 170.000 unique visits per month.

In the screenshot it lowered to around 165K, and before it has been around 175K. We must say that as usual 20% of the websites is responsible for 80% of the traffic, but the overall trend is still going up.

Hondentrainen.com layout updated

After a short week the website hondentrainen.com already got his first update. Mainly the trustworthy feeling the customer needs to have about this website has been the reason to update this website already within a week.

A new logo has been created and also the dark layout has been replaced by a new version.

This approach is a good example of bringing beta development to live asap and take advantage of live results from analytics and advertising and use them for website enhancements.

Book about puppy dogs on hondentrainen.com

Last week a new website has been launched to sell Margje Koster’s (from Hondengedragscentrum Duplo) Book about buying and raising puppies (dogs). The website is hondentrainen.com and is mainly focussed on selling the book including a free gift in the package.

The website might change into more informational about the book within the future but for now it’s a good starting place for selling the book and of course the best place if you need information on where and how to buy a puppy, and also how to raise your puppy!

KoopiPad.NL website brought live

This week a new iPad website has been launched. This website contains information about the new Apple iPad which will be released within soon in the USA and will be released in Europe in a few months.

The website is a Dutch website and the URL of the website means ‘buy an iPad’ , translate in Dutch this  is iPad kopen. Within soon another iPad website will be put live. More and more cool websites brought live by Livestorm Media will follow!

HD-Voetbal website released!

Last week we released a new website about soccer (dutch football), the main goal of this website is to inform the visitors about high definition soccer viewing and gaming. This means information about what HD is, how to install and order it, and of course, how to play it on your PS3 and/or Xbox 360!

All this information can be found on the HD Voetbal website! The information on the site will be update with unique texts within soon.

This website will be promoted on various soccer, gaming and tv related websites, for example the voetbalringtone.nl which is owned and created by Livestorm Media as well.

Added Sushitoko.NL to portfolio

In the beginning of this month Livestorm Media released a new website for the sushi loving people which holds all sushi restaurants in the Netherlands and maybe outside NL in the future as well.

This website will be in addition to the sushimaken.nl website which have a main focus on how to create sushi and the sushitoko.nl website will focus on information and reviews on sushibars and sushi restaurants.

The new website is released as beta and new and update functionalities will be added within soon!
